Mallory Oross was your typical fun loving four-year-old kid, going about without a care in the world. Just prior to her fifth birthday, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and on December 22, 2006 at the age of six, Mallory passed away from complications.
Throughout her ordeal, Mallory remained optimistic and always smiling. What most adults would have a hard time dealing with, here we have a six year old who instead of crying and asking, "why me," gave us all a shining example of dealing with a problem in a positive manner encouraging help for
others.
