This video is art. period. Most videos are just adverts for a band. If you can't see this "sweetlord" then maybe your more into a different kind of video. I saw this video on MTV U and couldn't stop watching it so I went to Itunes and bought it. It's interpretive and they're so much going on that each time I watch it I get a different vibe about the song. ACE job TVOTR. Definitely the best video yet from them!

Just decided to check this out after I heard it mentioned on the Guardian music podcast. I usually don't like anything resembling rap or hip-hop so I thought it was going to be a tough sell but I have to say, this song is pretty cool.

I know what you mean; Tv on the radio is hardly rap/hip-hop, but some of the material on their new album soars over that boundary, which actually really works for them. Then again, nothing this band does can bother me, they're incredible :)

Are you kidding? The video and imagery is amazing. And their album covers are fine. In fact, they're awesome because they don't boast retarded, flashy images reminiscent of general pop culture, and they stick with obscure photography.
