Little to add here except that I'm finally taking seriously the option of self-releasing some things on hard-copy as a lot of people wanted what I make on CD, oh yes, working still on Lajlia, four tracks of sixteen finished with five I think half way through.
This is #03 of 'Salvation from Human Nature' by the way, if I'll ever self-release some things it will probably be a double with 'That Which Lieth Beyond the Light', which was the second thing I made under æon nought, this the sixth... And it's an excerpt yes, I usually don't make tracks under t

Just been listening to Shrine to Intelligent Design, I feel this one somehow has more in it. There is something else, more emotion involved, if you do make anything on hardcopy, despite our arguments about Latin ;-), I would really like to buy some!

I must say (having done some link following :P) that actually we would probably get on! Besides the Latin thing, you evidently enjoy similar music to me and you are much better at writing it than I am! Thats really good, I'm looking forward to hearing what else you craft. Do you write spontaneously or are your creations carefully sculpted?

Depends on what I make, this music here just has raw uncontrolled emotions and is purely an improvisation, at many times even my lyrics are, but not here, these were praewritten as as most of the album as it's a lengthily essay. If I aim to make more technical music like dissonant 'fugues' I of course have to write them in advance, contemplate notes, study it and then play it. And I indeed enjoy a wide variety of music, though I mostly make things like this, I even listen to J-pop if I'm honest.

Sorry, deleted your comment, 'reply' is close to 'remove' here.. No, I've never seen any-thing live actually, but maybe sunday I'm going to a dark ambient evening. I did make some comics once which made fun of the dark ambient scene, I had a series titled 'ARTISTS LIVE' the 'SUNN O))) live' featured a one panel with a guy on a guitar saying 'I hope Stephen gets back from the men's room soon, he only has 45 seconds left before he has to play another note.'

But it is totally different.
Sunn O))) are fake people using random notes which then make a Drone type of Black Ambient. Depressive Black Ambient like this in fact has emotion and improvisation never means randomization of notes.. Amar's works can not be compared, try listening Evaulfth or emotion.i:void ..

Woooah mate, I never said that her music sounded like Sunn O))), I was referring to the reference she made in her comment regarding the comics she made making fun of the scene. Read nageljeuk's comment above mine before making rash assumptions that I am evidently an ignorant prick. I certainly am not, I think I know the difference between Drone and Depressive Black Ambient. Get your facts straight before you go diving in headfirst.

Well, the idea is that I usually start a new project if I get an idea for a new sound. That 'Reflexions in Time' track is not completed and still will get vocals actually. Very simply put:
æon nought: rust, burnt buildings, the inside of the mind emotion.i:void: space / melancholy Lajlia: childlike dreaminess, nightmares Reflexions in Time: A star filled sky in mist.

Hehehe, I cannot claim to be a big fan of Discartes, especially Cogito Ergo Sum I think is overrated and often pulled out of context. The entire album was created during a forced institutionalization. The entire lyrics are writtin in (grammatically correct for a change) Latin and are based on my long dialogues with the staff there. I'm a mathematics student and I tried to explain to them the various inconsistencies which wlll inevitably occur from their models. Lyrics end with 'Ergo odi hominem'
