This is so not supposed to be taken seriously. It's hilarious. People have said her last few albums were too intelligent and high brow for most listeners. This is her response to that by going extremely low brow. This is what happens when you've made more than enough money, have a secure record contract, don't need radio airplay, and have a good sense of humor. Very awesome.

she didn't do this for fun. she made a commentary on the sad state of pop culture and music. this song is ridiculous in the first place and supporting this idea that if a woman works it just right a man or many men will give her all the material possessions she wants. it objectifies women and that is what alanis is trying to point out, that the song is stupid.
