I must say I've never heard of this before. I recognise Anthony Newley but there are some other actors I vaguely recognise. The tall chap looks very like Jack Douglas. As I've said before I never cease to be amazed what you have in your library. Incidentally after your Dr Finlays' episodes I e-mailed the BBC to see if they were planning to release any original episodes on DVD. Answer came there none. Surprise surprise. I might try the BFI.

A media Editor and you've never heard of this? Shame on you! You have obviously never followed the history of ATV.

Guilty as charged but if you saw the workload we have to get through, researching past history is the last thing on the list!

You must remember that the BBC is now occupied by people who have no idea of quality programming. What we like and they like are totally different things.. and as for the BFI.. well if DFCB had gay content you might be in with a chance!! LOL LOL LOL! Just view their site to see what I mean. Better bet would be AcornVideo or others who release low volume BBC material under licence. But I have already tried and banged my head..It was nice when I stopped

(SIGH) You're right of course. I never bother to switch on my TV on Saturday other than to put a DVD on of something I prefer to watch. Why they insist on this vacuous rubbish on a Saturday is beyond me. I'm willing to bet if they put on an evening of old programmes like DFCB, The Good Old Days, maybe No Hiding Place or Dixon they'd be surprised at the increase in viewing figures. But of course that's not politically correct.
