Dragon Tree Time-Lapse
Uploaded by: superbligh
Video Description:
Roughly 4 months of growth at 1 frame per day. I don't know why the sprout on the left decided to give up. Perhaps its two neighbours got the upper hand and starved it of resources?

I agree it's a bit short, but nothing much else was going to happen within the frame of the shot. Maybe I'll try something else, like a sky scene, which doesn't take so long to record.

Thanks wqipinoy. This one actually got badly scorched from being out in the sun too long, so I pruned it and got to film it coming back to life. :-)

Cheers cybercab. The camera is nothing special: a Konica-Minolta Dimage A2. I shot all the frames manually, then re-registered them all by hand in Photoshop so that they lined up properly. Then I imported them all into Windows Movie Maker, gave them 0.1 second each and added a soundtrack. There are probably much better ways to do it than this. :-)
