Federer's just got the complete package of a complete arsenal of shots and incredible footwork. Rafa's a great player but other than his FH topspin, his footwork on clay doesnt quite match up to federer. Federer's body balance is immensely superior. I just hope Federer takes his A game to Roland Garos next year and wins it finally. Once he's done that, he has nothing left to prove to himself or the world. Then its time to retire.

yeah, i agree...rafa definitely needs to learn how to control the matches a little better to lengthen his career. but as he's essentially a very good offensive player and a dominant defensive player, and not the other way around, he will likely always have to do a little more running than federer, whose all-court game saves his legs more.

well whose fault is that... Did federer make nadal's schedule... I will admit that nadal did look out of form this match, but thats not to say he wasn't just terrible that day, Its like this years french open, one player had a bad day, and another player had a fucking insanely awesome day. It just happened to go into federer's hand at this tourney, and it played much more into nadals at the 2008 French Open

This year was really bad for Roger Federer..
After all those great matches in past years and talking aabout #Federer making History in tennis# he has became really bad...
