Uberjim83, are expecting for this miracle to occur within a certain time frame? Because it might not be today, tomorrow, next week, month or year, but someday you might have an opportunity to realize your need for God. However, it is only an open door, you have to walk through it in order to keep your free will intact. And just because you don't walk through it, that doesn't mean prayer didn't work it just means you didn't meet God half way.

...now speaking about 'the word'. Even Jesus knew that many people wouldn't accept Him or His Father and the good word. If Jesus could accept this fact, then I believe most Christians should too. Forcely feeding people the word isn't going to make them see the light, in fact it'll deter them more away from it. That said, you wouldn't leave a injured person to die, but at the same time you're not a medical prossional, so sometimes it's just better to call for help (God in this case) and hope.

Hmmm... You've gotta imagine that most people don't watch this video because it's such a good song (And it is, as is everything Johnny Cash has ever written or performed), but just so they can see who all of the celebrities are in it. Like i said, good song. But i'm an extreme atheist, and although i don't believe in the whole 'god' deal, i can't help but like this song.

because people want to emulate him, he does those "good works" for the same reason that slutty girls dress slutty, because they think it makes them better, because they think it raises their self worth. and the sad thing is, is that people want to emulate him. if you want to emualte someone go emulate gregory peck, who never suffered from cancer, or had a family member suffer from cancer(or friend) but still did an amazing amount to help cancer research.
