well... ok ya fine he is a great guitarist, but he is not the greatest blues guitarist ever. I can name you some many better blues guitarists... BB King, Albert King, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix (he also plays blues) and many more. Dont get me wrong Gilmour is a great guitarist and i love him but he does not stand out as a great blues man... Ya he does have a blues element in his playing but hes not a blues man.
