I hope this is a good game. Patapon is one of those games you SHOULDNT make a sequal to. But lets hope this is different.

it sounds like you never tried it, you should try it then judge it's very exciting !!
(didn't know that till i tried it myself) its a mixture of strategy
action plus it's a new game with new ideas it's one of the best games ever !

I am wanting this for Christmas, can you answer a few questions I have? Like is this a challenging game or pretty easy? Is it like a story play or can you play freestyle so you can play as many times as you want without repeating the same story? This would be most appreciated.

its a easy game if u have a sense of rythym without the tendecy to get distracted. If u get distracted easily or have no sense of rythm, good luck mate, you are gonna need it.

Only in the sense that it's made by the same people, and has a similar art style. LocoRoco was a lot like a Platformer, and Patapon is a Rhythm Strategy game. In the end, they're two completely different games.
