innuendoes about t Brazilian police as a whole; as I c'd c you weren't aware of all the facts relating in t story x the Br. reality. One can't go watching that film and criticizing it without having a minimum knowledge of t reality w involves t drug traffic in Br. (cont.)
They methodology might be wrong at your eyes, Americans, but some of them were the only way to deal with traffic dealers in Rio and with the hypocrisy of the "well born" Brazilians, who helps to sustain this drug dealers.
You all should at least try to research better about the situation in Rio before you stard saying non sense things as you did.
I wanna believe the subtitles were wrong. Different realities create different views, that's what I do think. We don't praise the BOPE as an amazing thing, you know. We didn't want it to be like this, but if you go to some Favela of the Rio, you'll see why they're like this. Thank god I have never
gone there even once. JMHamilton and jwcavallaro are right.
Receiving low paymend.
´t think that this film glorifies the BOPE police force. They show the reality.. how these guys are under stress..going up everyday in the favelas.. with low payment..and under heavy fire. Come to Brazil before u make such a superficials commentaries.()
